“It’s been a fantastic season in Antarctica for project 4318. We got a lot of science done. Thanks to all the help from Hayden, Steve, Peter, Toby, David, Angus and Euan, we actually exceeded all expectations and the data are looking really interesting so far. It’s been great working with professionals that manage to follow regulations strictly and never compromise on safety, but still being flexible and solving problems and challenges as they came.
Tobias Staal is a field Geophysicist at the University of Tasmania, who worked at Casey and Davis Station during the 2016/17 summer Antarctic season.
